Folly Farm

Year 3 had an amazing trip last Friday to Folly Farm. We had lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed our day. It all started with Pond dipping where the children were able to catch pond life and learn facts about these creatures. We then moved up into the woodlands to create a habitat for some Mammal Blood (Blackcurrant) where the children used the resources around them and their imagination to build a warm shelter. My group came 2nd but well done to the team that came first. After a well deserved lunch, we ventured further into the forest to look for woodland mini beasts.
